This on-site farming significantly enriches the restaurant's menu, providing fresh produce that contributes to innovative dishes. One nice evening, I indulged in a tasting menu where each course celebrated local flavors. Fabio's knowledge of eco-friendly farming practices offered a deeper appreciation of the ingredients that composed our meal. The ambience of the rustic dining area, with sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards, turned each meal into a multi-sensory experience. Though breakfast isn’t served traditionally, I was pleasantly surprised to find a selection of good local supplies waiting for me each morning. The convenience of storing my e-bike was another thoughtful consideration by the hosts. I look forward to returning, not just for the food, but also to reconnect with the inspiring ethos of sustainability that permeates Casa Matilda.
